News Today

News Today is a daily political and business newspaper published by USA Today, a Gannett company. It is distributed in the United States and Canada, as well as internationally. The paper features four sections: News (the “front page” section), Money, Sports and Life. The front pages feature shorter stories and a graphic, while the inside pages contain longer pieces that require “jumping” (readingers must turn to another page in order to read the full story). On certain days, the main section will take up two pages of the paper and there will be a second cover story within it. The front pages also feature an article titled “Newsline”, which summarizes stories featured on the inside pages, including the cover story, in sentence-length blurbs.
